Out to Lunch: The Lunch Menu Man's Guide to School Lunch
Published in Paperback by Scholastic (August, 1997)
Authors: David Price, Chuck Slack, and Bradford
Average review score:

Excellent for young and old!!
Children can't seem to get enough of this guy. We constantly see the children at our school trying to imitate the lunch menu man. Good clean Fun!!

Oprah should consider this!!
My daughter is only 5 years old. Everywhere we go, she has the poise to start singing the sing-alongs in this book, and sings them word for word!!!...Now my 2 year old is starting to say...dessin up boger!!.....The songs called.."I've been dressin' up my burger".....Anyone who can capture a childs attention..AND KEEP IT.....is a bestseller candidate...David Price has done that..and more!!

An excellent resorce for fun and learning for children.
In todays world it can become very difficult providing your children with good learning and fun reading material. Out to Lunch proves it's possible.

The Secret Life of Thomas Bradford
Published in Paperback by Royal Fireworks Press (01 August, 1998)
Author: Anne Knoll
Average review score:

Recommended for young cat lovers and feline fanciers
Anne Knoll's The Secret Life Of Thomas Bradford is an imaginative and entertaining novel for young adults about an odd-eyed white cat who considers himself to be a king, and a self-centered young man with a similar illusion. Neither cat nor man will let anyone or anything stop him on his quest for glory! Humorous and sometimes poignant, The Secret Life Of Thomas Bradford will especially resonate for anyone who shares their household with a furry feline king or queen. Entertaining and especially recommended for young cat lovers and feline fanciers!

Sometimes sad, sometimes sweet cat saga
I try to read my children's books as often as I can although doing so is not always what you would call a literary adventure. This was not the case in "The Secret Life of Thomas Bradford." Not only was this one of the best children's books I've read, it was one of the best BOOKS I've read in a long time (including some of the so-called bestsellers). "TB" was imaginative and adventurous, so much so I felt compelled to write a review. I plan to buy extra copies to give as gifts and to donate to the school library. I see Ms. Knoll writes gothic romances (just like Marcy). I hope she writes another children's book, she has a true gift. Also, wouldn't this make a lovely full-length cartoon? Quick! Somebody call Disney and Nickelodeon!

Cat Lover's Delight
Storyline is the adventures of Thomas (the cat) who runs away from an unhappy home. I liked it because Thomas told the story which made me laugh, cry and be happy at the end.

Selected Poems and Prose (Penguin Classics)
Published in Paperback by Penguin Books Ltd (25 October, 2001)
Authors: Thomas Traherne and Alan Bradford
Average review score:

traherne and christian transcendence
traherne is writing based upon the reality of his spiritual experience, it is not something written merely for amusement or speculation. If a Christian has been given, by God, through divine union, the gift of peace passing all understanding, it acts as if an interruption in time.Time, in a spiritual sense, loses its flow and if we experience this state, there is a complete loss of every anxiety.....so we are not longing for the past or the future, but the NOW...THE PRESENT REALITY. This is where Traherne has encouraged me, because this has been my reality too though no amount of self effort could produce such a condition. It is too bad that Traherne is so unknown, but then, some one would have to experience what he is saying in his writings in order to understand them because this is not merely intellectual, like reading words off a page.Otherwise, it seems like so much pseudo science and abstract reasoning, but its not.Its a higher form of reality, realized only by those who pursue holiness and wait on the grace of God.And its possible though you will convince no one.Its all between you and God.Love Traherne.

Meditations on Eternity
Unfortunately this book is as rare as a diamond found in the street. If you are looking for innocence and purity, this voice from the 17th century in England might talk to you as it did to me. Traherne fits into a world described by Van Morrison, T.S.Eliot or William Blake. He seems to have antennas that are connected to Paradise, but not in a dry, scholarly way. His images are refreshing, personal, childlike. He is filled with a genuine, true love that communicates itself to the reader. Consider yourself a lucky person if you get in touch with this fountain of joy.

Passionately and deeply spiritual poetry.
Traherne's work is deeply spiritual. His vision is clear and consistant. The impression of reading his work is of getting not only into the author's thoughts, but simultaneously his spirit. Written in post-Shakespearian England by a Presbyterian pastor. A must read.

GLOBAL SHAMANISM, GLOBAL HEALING !
A fantastic story about one person's journey into spirit! Bradford has been guided by his waking and sleeping dreams and visions, to journey to sacred teachers in the United States,North, South, and Central America,Africa, and Japan. The message is one of global healing and love, through shamanic and universal eyes. May your life be as magical and full. This book will be a catalyst to your spiritual journey. One of my top 10 favorite books. Inspiring, exciting, transformational. It knocked my socks off and knitted me another pair. :) In Spirit, Sakanta Running Wolf, Th'e Chupe ke ya ka Pah, Walks in Freedom

A Fabulous Book!
This book has touched me deeply. I've had similar experiences and this book has helped me understand just what has been happening. It's been an absolute joy to read -- definitely one of my all-time favorite books!

A Westerner's immersion into the world of indigenous healing
Dr. Keeney, a well-known author and teacher in psychotherapy, writes a moving story of his own journey in and through the shamanic circles. His lifetime of call to know the people, ideas, and experiences of the spiritual realm lead him from the sweat lodges of the Lakotah to the Kalahari Desert bushmen, from the healers of South America to the wisdom-keepers of Japan. This book will frighten some, enlighten most, and expand the possible for all -- I highly recommend you read this as both anthropology and autobiography. Frank Thomas, PhD

A Practical Tool for Practioners and Staff
The Total Service Medical Practice is a practical, easy- to-use roadmap for keeping focused on the customer! Definitely not just a book on theory, but a manual chocked-full of concrete examples on how to mobilize your team around identifying and enhancing the critical 'moments of truth' for your medical practice. Dr. Bradford provides us with numerous tools and take-aways from her experiences in the industry - a great read for providers, practice managers, and office staff.

Practical Insights for Health Care Providers and Patients
Unique in its perspective and insight, The Total Service Medical Practice offers an easy-to-read seventeen step method of critically analyzing service delivery in the ambulatory health care setting. Drawing on in-depth interviews with customers, physicians, practice managers, and communication experts, Vicky Bradford shares specific examples of what distinguishes the best practices and the best employees. Although the easy-to-read, comprehensive text easily can serve as a primer for effective communication in health care, the specific service examples, anecdotes, quotations, charts, and lists provide insight and ideas to even the most experienced practice administrator.

The organization of the text makes it useful as a reference tool for problem solving as well as an instructional tool for in-services. In a time when everyone declares himself to be a service expert, it is refreshing to read the perceptions and insights of patients, family members, physicians, and staff members presented side-by-side.

Resources in the text include insights into organizing a mentoring program for new employee orientation, guidelines on professional perceptions, informal and formal systems analysis, and managing the critical "moments of truth" with customers. Specific examples also are included of Focus Group Interview Questions, a Service-Quality Questionnaire, problem solving techniques, team composition, conflict management, collection / billing timetables, financial agreements, and developing personal service statements.

For the new health care employee or administrator, the text provides rich explanations of ambulatory health care settings, expectations, and terminology. For the seasoned professional, it provides gentle reminders and fresh ideas. This text not only is practical, it is practically indispensable.

Under the Same Heaven
Published in Paperback by Black Belt Press (December, 1998)
Author: Marjorie Bradford
Average review score:

A Great Read!
Ms. Bradford's book is a delightful tale with colorful characters following an interesting plot. The story unfolds in a small southern town just after the great depression. There's humor & suspense, joy & sorrow. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to fans of mystery & history alike.

An American Classic
Marjorie Bradford has written what may well become an American classic, a humorous expose about good and evil in the post-depression American South. I loved it! You will too.

Character development and good story make a top read.
Marjorie Bradford's first novel has the reader savoring her well-turned phrases, devouring the story, and feeling very satisfied with the fullness of the character development.

This wholesome book uses the people of Haley, removed from us six decades, not only to entertain us, but to teach us a few things about the inner person (without being preachy or syrupy.) The author is a keen observer and skillful wordsmith who lures us into the lives of the locals, then weaves her tale with good pace, mixing romance and mystery.

Addy Saves the Day: A Summer Story (The American Girls Collection/Book Five)
Published in Hardcover by Pleasant Company Publications (September, 1994)
Authors: Bradford Brown and Connie Rose Porter
Average review score:

This book is great!
This is another in the American Girls series about Addy Walker, a ten-year-old African-American girl living in the America of 1865. With the war over, Trinity A.M.E. Church decides to hold a fair to raise money for those hurt or displaced. Addy's idea for the children to hold a puppet show and sell the puppets is warmly received, but everything looks gloomy when she and Sarah are partnered with Harriet. Everything depends on the girls working together, much more so then they realized, so the girls must come together to overcome.

The final chapter is an informative look at outdoor activities in 1865. This is another, wonderful book, well written, with a captivating storyline and great lessons. My daughter is an Addy fan, and so am I! This book is great!

very exciting and fun to read
Addy and Sarah are against Harriet even though they are workingtogether on a booth for the church fair that is raising money to helpblack slaves get to their families. But when the money is stolen, Addy and Harriet must work toghether to get it back. Addy also meets a surprise person in this book. Addy Saves The Day is one of my favorite American Girl books because it is fun and exciting to read and I definitely recommend it.

IF YOU LOVE ROMANCE YOU'LL LOVE THIS BOOK
I could not put this book down. It was excellent. She is one of the 3 authors that I have to buy their books as soon as they come out!

I begged the author NOT to let the main characters die!!!
This trilogy of a woman's life, struggles, and successes, is the best of this type I've ever read. The reader gets to know, and love her(Emma) and her longtime friend/love(Blackie). More tears than usual were shed over each one's passing. I did not want the trilogy to end

Average review score:

Very Romantic
This is really a very nice calendar. It gives tips on how to be romantic to ur partner and it really works. Very romantic, sensational, and very helpful. But the only bad thing in it is that it's not colorful. It's black and white. But it's pretty good otherwise.

Excellent New Calendar For 2003
This is a wonderfull desk calendar for any fan of Barbara Taylor Bradford. Each day of the year has another innovative idea from Barbara on how to make life a bit more special and romantic.

Highly reccomended!
